WHEN a Blackpool interior design
company gave another small business' showroom a complete make-over it led to
both firms combining their expertise.
Unique Interiors, which is based at Whitegate
Drive, Blackpool,
has forged a close link-up with a home technology company Majik House to create
a one-stop shop for customers.
Majik House directors Carol and Tim Burrow asked Unique Interiors to redesign
their premises in Milnthorpe, Cumbria, which has the largest home technology
showroom in the UK. They offer home cinema, lighting, sound,
vision and security systems, and it led to the two businesses forming an
alliance.

The largest home technology showroom and Experience Centre in
the UK; situated here in the North West, has been named the preferred
installation company for LinnSight Ltd, based within Harrods.
Majik
House, in Kirkby Lonsdale, has been offered a three year agreement with LinnSight
Ltd; a concession holder in the world’s most famous department store. Majik House will have responsibility for
installing LinnSight products, including brands such as Linn and Loewe, to Harrods
customers in the North of the UK.

Cumbria is home to the largest home
technology showroom in the UK and, during their regular open days, the Majik
House receives fascinating applications from people wanting to create
their very own smart home.
One
such request was from a gentleman whose conservatory overlooks the water
feature in his garden. He wanted to
press a single button from the chair in his conservatory which would switch his
fountain on, make it change colour, part-lower the conservatory blinds and begin
playing a CD.
